Priceline Hotel: Sheraton Arlington-Grand Prairie Bidding Help

I will be traveling to the Ballpark in Arlington on 06/24/11 - 06/26/11 and we would really like to get the Sheraton Arlington as it is within walking distance to the Ballpark. After looking around it appears that Hotwire may have this hotel listed as the ONLY 4 star hotel in the area and Priceline has it listed as a 3 star hotel. Is there a way to increase my chances of getting THIS particular hotel? Can I specify on Hotwire for a 4* and "almost" be guaranteed this hotel as it's the only 4* in the area??? Please let me know if I am wrong in regards to any of this or you have any other suggestions on how I could land this particular hotel!! Thanks in advance!

I am very new to this and trying to figure things out so please go easy! I am looking to bid on priceline and would really "like" to stay at the Sheraton Arlington-Grand Priaire in Texas. Can anyone give me any advice on how to score this property? I know it is never a guarantee but maybe someone will know from experience on what to bid etc to increase my odds.

The Sheraton Arlington has been previously reported at the 3.5* level on PRICELINE, and is one of a few properties that have been previously reported at that level - there is no way to ensure or increase the odds of a particular property w/PRICELINE.

When searching for these dates on HOTWIRE, I'm seeing a 4* in Arlington w/ Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free. While no guarantee (there is always the chance of a new/previously unreported property appearing), the Sheraton has been previously reported with those amenities at that star rating, so that would be my guess.

OK so I have been bidding on priceline hoping to get the Sheraton in Arlington-Grand Prairie. I have seen this property won at $53.00/night. I am looking to go on 06/24/11 - 06/27/11 (2 nights). I started my bid at $53.00/night and got denied. I have added locations that do not have a 3 1/2* hotels and increasing my bid by $2.00. I am now all the way up to $89.00/night and still rejected. Any advice????

I need help with a 4* for the dates of 06/24/11 - 06/26/11 (2 nights). I am thinking this is the Sheraton Arlington but would like to make sure.

4* Arlington - Grand Priairie are Hotel (2.7 - 8.1 mi from city center)

Smoke Free Rooms

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

I have heard this is the only reported 4* hotel for this area.
