Gigtime Posted January 21, 2011 Report Share Posted January 21, 2011 Bid $40 for 3* Austin Central after seeing another user successfully bid on priceline for this weekend (albeit for a 6 night stay). Bid was declined but PRICELINE did a one-time offer for $55 and suggested it would get approved. It did but not at the Doubletree. I wasn't familiar with this particular Marriott even though I used to live nearby but I know the neighborhood and it's nowhere near as desirable as the Doubletree. It's right on the freeway and in an area easy for car thieves to drive in and out of. Link to comment
