tuna
Amenities:Suite Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Appears to be the Doubletree Guest Suites Times SquareAssuming it is the Doubletree Guest Suites I am curious..are all the rooms two room suites? Traveling with two younger kids and having two separate rooms make a huge difference. I'm nervous about booking it if its not two separate rooms. Thx Link to comment

thereuare
They're not 2BR suites but as far as i know they are all 2 room suites with a door which closes off the BR from the Living Room... but if you want to be certain you can call the hotel to confirm. My best guess is also the Doubletree Guest Suites. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. tuna
Going to NYC to check for the ultimate holiday experience. Curious as to your thoughts on Doubletree Guest Suites Times Sq vs the Affinia hotels. We currently have the Doubletree [suite w/ separate living area] booked for $280/night. Considered the Embassy Suites in the Financial District because of its price low $200's plus the breakfast and snacks that are included but figured it might be to far out of the way for what we wanted to do w/ the kids. Thoughts? Other suggestions welcome. Prefer a two room suite. Thx Link to comment
thereuare
If you didn't, please note from our support page that we're an affiliate of the Doubletree hotels as well as most other major hotel chains and booking agencies, please check for and use the links there for you future hotel direct purchases. As far as the hotels above, based upon your scenario, i think the Doubletree is the best option... it provides extra room for four people which will be welcomed, especially in NYC. The Embassy Suites would provide this too (which would be my second choice) but the location will be somewhat less central. Especially with a 3 year old you never know when it will be convenient (read: necessary) to head back to the hotel for something... spilling a drink on themselves, food on clothes, potty break, parents want to sit and rest for a moment, etc, etc. makes having the convenience of a hotel with easy access an easier trip. The Affnia Dumont is a GREAT hotel, and that would be my first choice if this was an adults-only trip, but with kids i would sooner opt for one of the other two. The Embassy Suites wouldn't be a bad choice (especially when weighing the included breakfast and managers reception) but i think the Doubletree is a little better, and ultimately it will come down to whether it's worth the additional cost (which is something each person may answer differently)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
