lmc77
HiYou guys were a great help last year I used this site to successfuly book the Tudor hotel through hotwire and was delighted with it.We are going back this year and will be Nov 23rd to Nov 30th. Just realised that thanksgiving falls inbetween this time.Any info on average price for NYC hotel either on hotwire or priceline. Dont think priceline is an option if i remember correctly as there will be 3 adults travelling.Looking for a hotel thats either times square area or madison sqaure garden Hope you can help and that I am on the right place!! :) Link to comment
thereuare
Since HOTWIRE shows you a price, and there is no bidding involved, i'd suggest starting with a HOTWIRE search for 3 people and see the prices offered. Not sure if this is an option, but rates are usually very high for the few days before Thanksgiving (all those out of town marching bands have to stay someplace) and then rates are usually 'reasonable'... so you may want to look into splitting your stay. To get a feel for how much you might be able to save, repeat your HOTWIRE searches for the following dates:11/23-11/3011/23-11/25 and 11/25-11/3011/23-11/26 and 11/26-11/3011/23-11/27 and 11/27-11/30Not sure where the breakpoint will be this year, but do any of the searches which begin on 11/25, 11/26 or 11/27 show substantial cheaper rates than the previous nites? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and your searches too!
