thereuare
Congratulations on your win and thank you for sharing it with the rest of the board. This appears to be a super deal!Hopefully you enjoyed your stay the first time and are looking forward to returning once again! How is this property... seems kind of odd that a Grand Hyatt would be rated 3 stars :) This is indeed the Grand Hyatt and not the Hyatt Regency, correct?Have a great time. kgclark75
The Hyatt Regency downtown was recently renovated and upgraded to the Grand Hyatt brand. There is a second Hyatt near the convention Center (about 4-5 blocks from the current Grand Hyatt) that is supposed to open in December of this year. Link to comment
thereuare
If it is still 3*, i wonder how long it will remain as such.If you've seen the newly renovated hotel, is it worthy of a higher rating? Thanks for the additional info! YYZC2
I've stayed at the now-Grand Hyatt in Denver a number of times, both pre- and post-renovation.In my mind the hotel doesn't rate a 4* mantle, but then again PL and I don't often see hotels in the same light. The on-site restaurant is nothing special, the public spaces are small but cozy, and the rooms are nice but not really luxurious.I believe the addition of the "Grand" prefix was due more to prevent confusion between the existing downtown property and the new Convention Center property.
