Tried again today with no success.

There is a 3* hotel showing up on Hotwire for $68 that I believe is the Holiday Inn Express as the amenities all match up. I am thinking of just going for that and using the rebate from my Entertainment Book.

If you go this route please post your results here (including the amenities of the hotel you purchase) and we'll then move this entire thread to the HOTWIRE section of the board.

Also, you an still use our HOTWIRE link along the the rebate:

1) click our HOTWIRE link and allow the page to fully load

2) go to the 'special' url you're asked to on the rebate form

3) search and purchase as usual

Well, just tried again and got upgraded to 4* Marriott Monterey for $69 bid. Rate on Marriott's site is $179. Reviews seem mostly positive.

Started at $62 and got the "raise your bid by $17 screen.

Tried $67 adding free zone - rejected

Tried $69 adding free zone and got it!
