They mention that Lompoc's nicest hotal was the Embassy.. We had a family vacation last summer at Jamal beach (Lompoc) and I had to say that was the nicest beach camping I have been on. But I sure you know that living in that area. What was nice about the location was that the camp site is right on the beach and there is nothing around for 5-10 miles, except for the HWY1 and the RR track. The nights were crystal clear and the sunset were picture perfect, who needs Hawaii (west side). The mornings were again something you only dream when you wake up for we had the offshore winds in the AM blowing off the overcast. Link to comment
