Welcome to BetterBidding!

As far as 'when to bid' it's recommended to begin bidding as soon as your plans are firm, but also not bidding too high too early, ensuring that you don't overbid. See the related link in our PRICELINE FAQ for more info.

The per nite booking goes down just a little the more nites you book, but you're only talking ~$1 per nite, so not really a big deal or anything that should influence your planning, imo.

Let us know once you're ready to begin bidding, the dates of your first stop, desired star rating, and your maximum bid... we'll then advise accordingly.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

PS- congratulations on your upcoming nuptials :)

Bidding isn't available for Jasper/Lake Louise or Banff. I would keep an eye on travelzoo.ca or Fairmonts Great Rates Great Dates or check Flyertalk.com Hotel Deals section to see if the Fairmont Friends and Family rate is extended to next summer.

Unless there's a special event going on in Vancouver or Edmonton during your stay, I doubt you would have any problems bidding a couple weeks before you leave.
