toverman
Hey Guys, I'm new to the hotwire / priceline / bidding thing and have been looking to book a hotel in vegas from 3/4 - 3/7.On hotwire today, a 4* center strip hotel popped up for $105 / night that i hadn't seen listed before or in the hotwire list above. here are the amenities listed:ResortCasinoFitnessPoolRestaurantBusiness CenterHigh Speed InternetGolfAny ideas on what hotel that is?Thanks! IrishRed
I just saw the same hotel for $75 for 2/28-3/3, minus Golf. Based on the hotel list, my best guess is the Planet Hollywood. although it could be a new addition, too... Link to comment
thereuare
I'm not currently seeing this property on a HOTWIRE search for your dates... are you still seeing this on your own HOTWIRE search for your dates? If so, are you searching for more than one room or for more than the detault 2adults/0children?Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and your searches too! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
toverman
No, I am no longer seeing the property for my search either. I noticed it available for a few hours (across multiple searches, I verified the parameters when i didn't see it on this forum's hotwire list) early this afternoon but it disappeared off the list later in the day. So I don't know if it was a mistake or what not. I'll post back if it appears again.Yes, I am only searching for 1 room with 2 adults. It appears now that planet hollywood (or possibly Paris I suppose) turned up on HOTWIRE for my dates at $92 per night. I booked a refundable room earlier today at planet hollywood when a good deal / promotion appeared at $97 per night. I booked this through the normal priceline hotel search.I am still investigating and keeping options open for another deal through PRICELINE or HOTWIRE.I have been using the board's HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links to perform my searches. Thanks! toverman
On a side note, I was comparing the prices of my travel weekend to this upcoming weekend and it appears that the hotel i was originally asking about is available on HOTWIRE for this weekend (2/25 - 2/28) for $132 a night. (It has the same amenities listed at least). I'm not going to book it obviously, was just curious since i hadn't seen that amenity / star / location combo listed before.ScreenShot: <no screenshot postings please> Link to comment
