Priceline Hotel: 3* Kansas City (Overland Park-Lenexa) Holiday Inn Overland Park

This stay is over but thought it was worth mentioning if you're bidding K.C. area. This is a decent place with a Green Mill Pizza restaurant inside. Older property but rooms have obviously been remodeled in the last few years, very comfortable. Maintenance was prompt when I had issues with the A/C unit. I ate at the restaurant a few times but found the food to be average. Hotel is very convenient to major freeways. I booked 7 nights then added 6 more at the same price using the Priceline extend your stay feature. Tax and fees for the 13 nights ran about 8/night.

You are right, it is still 3*. I bid 2.5 and the result in the "my trips" shows 2.5 but the details show they gave me a "free upgrade" to 3 stars for this bid.

I typically bid 2.5 because some of the 3 star or higher places charge for internet which just adds a cost I can't justify on a small business budget. However Holiday Inn is not one of them.
