Getting ready to bid but would like some help with strategy. I am looking for 2.5 and above. My preferences in order are MTE, MTW, TS, ESB, MSG, Chelsea

I read in the calendar of wins that someone got the affinia 50 for $65. I would love a deal along those lines, hoping to keep my bid under $90. I am going to a convention up in rye brook, ny and will be using grand central to get there via metro north. So if I cant get MTE I would hope to get somewhere near a subway line. Any suggestions for bidding strategy. Thank you and I will book via the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on this site.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Did you want to bid higher for the MTE zone OR is your goal the least expensive out of any of the zones above? Also, we usually recommend striving for a higher than usual star rating in NYC... while there may be some 2.5* properties which are acceptable, there may be some which are not, and with PRICELINE you don't get to choose which type you will get :) Ultimatley it's your stay and you know your tastes, needs, tolerane, and budget better then we do, so let us know if you'd prefer to stick wth the 2.5* rating or first try for a 3* hotel.

Let us know the above and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow.
