arhubs
3.5 stars is a stretch for this dark/dreary property. The rate of $32/night forgives alot, but I hope I don't get this place again. The rooms are OK--probably updated 6-8 years ago.The restaurant is typically over-priced hotel grub with minimal customer service. The front desk folks are much more helpful than the restaurant staff. The shower ran out of hot water on one of the two mornings. This is ridiculous. Even Motel 6 knows how important hot water is.At least when we stayed there, the hotel seemed to function as some sort of departure point for military recruits. Lots of kids spending a last free night with their girlfriends, etc. They really took over the lobby, etc and would have big organized meals in the restaurant. Not a big deal, it just gave the whole place a dormitory feel. Link to comment
