Hotwire Hotel: 2* South Chicago - Hyde Park Hotel

Hi guys

Looking for some help identifying this hotel currently priced at $57 per night. The facilities showing are pool, restaurant and internet connection. My dates of travel are 29th June to 4th July.

I don't believe this property has yet been ID'd/reported to the board, although my best guess would be the Ramada Lakeshore. Do you need to be in this particular area? I ask because it's not very good from a tourist standpoint - there's not a great deal around and it's definitely a big trek to the main downtown area.

After reading the hotel reviews we have decided to hold off just now. Will keep an eye on HOTWIRE and will post if we book. Thanks for your help.

I'd be very happy to recommend other areas - there are some wonderful areas in the suburbs with great prices.

Hey folks, We are flying from Edinburgh to Chicago on June 29th and looking to stay in town through July 3rd and have checked out hotwire and have found the following:

3* Magnificent Mile Area - Streeterville area Hotel: Inn of Chicago?

3.5* Chicago Loop area Hotel: Club Quarters?

We have checked Trip Advisor and both hotels seem ok. Do any of you guys that are in the know have any preference? Or are there any other options we should consider?
