tkduke77 Posted February 4, 2010 Report Share Posted February 4, 2010 I wanted to hopefully grab a hotel in either the White House-Downtown zone or in Dupont Circle. I started my bidding at $55 for a 3* hotel in the WHD zone and was rejected. I rebid using the Mt Vernon area as a rebid zone at $60 and was rejected. I rebid a 3rd time adding in the Dupont Circle zone and increasing my bid to $61. I successfully won the Topaz Hotel in the White House-Downtown zone for $61 a night. I'm happy with that.
