dianeb
First time to the board, I'd like help getting the W at the beach. (i see someone got the W for under $100, nice)or3-4 star downtown, airport north. I'd like to start @ $75.00 up to $100 all in for a 4 *Thanks for your help and I will use the PRICELINE link @ the top of the page. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! You can't bid on a specific hotel and there is no way to target a particular property when using PRICELINE... you'll need to be willing to accept any 4* hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) you select.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. DocJim
I've been trying to do the same for a Pre-Cruise hotel, 3/20 to 3/22, with no success, this must be a busy weekend. The only hotel I've seen people win even close to the beach this same weekend is the Hyatt Place, 3 star, in the Downtown zone for $70/night. I have a cancelable reservation at the Hilton Marina for $127/night and have bid as high as $120/night on PRICELINE. Good luck, please post your results and I'll do the same. Link to comment
dianeb
Yes, I wil accept any. ThanksJust looked at my original post and it sounds unclear. I would be thrilled with the W but I know it's not certain. I will accept a 4 * at the beach or a 3-4* downtown or airport north. Is that clearer??? Thanks again. Link to comment
thereuare
Are you willing to pay more for a higher rated hotel or a hotel in a particular zone... or is your goal the least expensive hotel of the following:4* Beach3* or higher Downtown3* or higher Airport NorthAlso, just to confirm, is it the Airport NORTH zone you're interested in and not the Airport zone itself... the highest rated hotel in the Aiprort North zone is 2*.Let us know and we'll advise accordingly. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. dianeb
I'm requesting airport north as I thought Hyatt Place is airport north. Is that incorrect. If so we can forget airport north.Goal is the least expensive in 4 or 3. Sorry, this is confusing and you are very patient. Link to comment
thereuare
The official name of the hotel you're refering to is the "Hyatt Place Airport North" but it is located in PRICELINE's Downtonw zone. You can see the hotels in each zone reported to the board in the Priceline Hotel List.Did you want to include the Airport zone in your bidding... or just the Downtown (3* and higher) and Beach (4* and higher) zones?Let us know and we'll advise accordingly. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. thereuare
$100 all-in is only about a $85 bid, so we'll use that as your maximum. I would bid as follows:At the 4* level you have SIX re-bid zones. At the 3.5* level you have FOUR re-bid zones. At the 3* level you have ONE re-bid zone. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.(NOTE: 're-bid zone1' is not the same as priceline's Zone1, 're-bid zone2' is not the same as priceline's Zone2, etc, etc)Select 4* BEACH and Downtown...Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $83, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3.5* Downtown...Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone3...Bid $70, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3.5* Downtown and re-bid zone4...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $83, if rejected add re-bid zone3...Bid $85, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 3* Downtown...Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $55Any questions feel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. dianeb
Still no luck. Followed your detailed instructions and still got rejected. Don't want to go over $100 total so we decided to use our Hilton points and booked the Embassy Suites. Anyway, Thanks for all of your help. Link to comment
