Alry45
Hello,New to the board and will be making my first trip to Vegas this March for the NCAA tourny. Currently have a room booked but looking to find something nicer/cheaper.Any recommendations on a bid for a 4* North Strip hotel? Link to comment
yellowdog
Welcome to BetterBidding :) What is your maximum/night before tax? For what hotel and price is your current reservation?Yellowdog. Link to comment
Alry45
Right now I have a reservation at Bally's for $386 (Using my total rewards card) so I would like to pay no more than $80+ tax per night. Link to comment
thereuare
That Bally's rate seems pretty good. We suggest a strategy to try to improve upon it, but before doing so... would the Trump (which is located off-strip and does not have a casino) be an acceptable outcome? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Alry45
No, I really don't want to end up at the Trump. Do you think that's my best option if I don't want to stick with Bally's? Link to comment
thereuare
I don't necessarily think that the Trump is your best option, but if you don't want this property then that rules out using PRICELINE, since there is no way to avoid it when bidding the Strip North zone.HOTWIRE is still an option since you can avoid the Trump by purchasing a hotel which shows the Casino icon (since the Trump doesn't have a casino you know it can't be that property), but searching HOTWIRE nothing centrally located within your budget is offered for your dates. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. AaronJB
You could possibly (chances are probably not great, but still certainly a possibility) be upgraded to a 5* (which could possibly be the Trump.) Are there any listings of interest on HOTWIRE?Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
