Billabongi
1st time poster, trying to get a 4* hotel in downtown Vancouver for May 22nd (1 night) and I have bid all the way up to 132 (4 rebids) with no luck. Am I bidding to early or do I really need to up my bids? I'm rather shocked going up to 132 wasn't accepted. I'm after the Hyatt which is bookable for 212 so I dont really think 132 is that low but who knows. Link to comment
AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Rates do seem on the high side for Vancouver for these dates, but I'm a tad surprised that $132 wasn't accepted.Still, I wouldn't bid any higher, as HOTWIRE has a 4* for these dates in the downtown Vancouver West zone for $133. Amenities are Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Spa, which would appear to be a possible match for the Sheraton Wall. While not a confirmation, the 300+ reviews and 4/5 tripadvisor rating on the detail page for this HOTWIRE listing would also be evidence in favor of this being the Sheraton. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase. canuck611
May 22nd is a Saturday during a long weekend in British Columbia (Monday is a stat holiday), so you may find the hotels are reluctant to lower their prices at this time. Link to comment
