lovesdeals
Hi, I've used this site as well as Priceline before with much success! Wondering what to bid for our travel dates... My spouse and I are going to LV for the Mountain West Basketball Championship Finals. Arriving Fri MAR 12, checking out Sun MAR 14. Upon reviewing the reported hotel list for Priceline, I'd like to bid on 4* North Strip (Treasure Island & Mirage reported) or 5* South Strip (THEHotel reported.) Only reason not bidding 4* South or 5* North is they each include 1 hotel respectively, The Westin (poor reviews/not LV atmosphere we're desiring) and Trump (off strip location/no casino) that we'd rather not stay at.I checked the calendar of wins for our dates but nothing has been reported yet. I see several recent and quite impressive wins for 4* North, Treasure Island at $45 to $65. The wins and tips on the board indicate to bid low. I'm wondering if March dates/basketball championship will impact hotel rates and thus, my bid. Max bid for 4* is $60 (current TI website rate is $69.) And Max for 5* isn't much more, as we're not hung up on staying at a 5* this trip, it's just another bidding option really. Airfare is high so certainly trying to get a really good deal here. Thanks in advance. :) Link to comment
thereuare
current TI website rate is $69This seems very low for this property for weekend nites, are you sure you inputted the dates correctly, as i'm currenlty seeing $150+ average nightly rate for the above. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. lovesdeals
Follow up to this thread: we did not end up bidding for this trip but rather booked a room with Mandalay Bay directly- for their pools/beach atomosphere. :) Link to comment
