Alexmonc
I am a first time user with PRiceline and was trying to book a 4* hotel in ME, MW or UM during the period of 02/08 -02/13 it seemed to be impossible to get anything even when I increased my search to include UE and downtown and my bid to $120. Does anyone know whether this is because I am being too unrealistic and need to increase my bid or whether it has to do with the fact that I have placed this over a valentine'S weekend. Should I maybe split the trip. Thanks Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Based upon current rates i don't think your bid is high enough. Is $120 your maximum bid? I think you could be successful at under $140, but it will currently take more than $120.Would you rather increase your bid amount, lower your star rating, or wait it out and hope for lower prices (sorry ,we don't know if prices will go up or down between now and then).I also see a 1BR suite at the BEEKMAN TOWER where the REVIEWS seem pretty good.Let us know which option(s) of the above you choose and we'll advise further. If you'd like a bidding strategy to approach the $140 mark on Priceline let us know.
