AaronJB
First, I wouldn't recommend staying in this zone unless needed (going to a convention at McCormick, for example). This could be the Hilton or Hyatt McCormick, as both have come up with this amenity set. Without a tripadvisor rating, there's no way to know for sure which is showing (and if this is the Hyatt, it's definitely not a convenient location unless you're attending a convention.) That said, in this case, I have a feeling that this may be the Hyatt McCormick. Plus, the Hyatt is $83.45 on Orbitz for these dates, plus an extra 10% off with the REVIEW10 coupon = $83.45 - 10% = about $75.11. Essentially the same price as the HOTWIRE listing.Personally, I'd rather recommend trying $75 for a Millennium Park-Loop-Grant Park hotel on PRICELINE than taking this listing. Or consider the $79 3.5* in the Loop area on HOTWIRE instead. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase. Link to comment
jrb2310
started bid low at $60 and moved up every $5 until finally taken at $85. Was really hoping for Palmer House Hilton but got the Hilton on South Michigan Ave. Seems like an expensive Saturday night compared to other Saturday night deals I've gotten recently.I used the PRICELINE link on better bidding to make my purchase! AaronJB
Congratulations on your success. :)Glad you were able to get this property via PRICELINE, and for quite a good rate, considering the regular rate for these dates (which are a little on the expensive side - possibly Christmas shopping.)Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using the PRICELINE link. :)Enjoy your stay.
