srock Posted November 17, 2009 Report Share Posted November 17, 2009 Using the PRICELINE link, I started bidding for a 3* in Matteson, Illinois, which I anticipated would be the Holiday Inn (only 3* shown in that area). First bid of $40 was rejected; I added a zone without any 3* or better and rebid at $42 and was rejected; I added another zone without any 3* or better and rebid $44 and was accepted.Rate: $44 plus $12.65 for taxes and fees.
