christy319 Posted November 16, 2009 Report Share Posted November 16, 2009 I guess every Hotwire deal can't be a great one...I did a ton of research to try to figure out what this 3* hotel might be, and the BW was not on my list. I could have actually booked this hotel cheaper using my government ID (BW extends government rates to fed employees on leisure travel) but I didn't want it. I thought for sure it would be the Residence Inn, HIlton Garden, Hyatt Summerfield or Courtyard, all of which are 3* in the vacation packages. The BW does not seem nearly as nice as those. Oh well. The zones, hotels and the star rating is diffrent now when Expedia providing the vacation part. Sorry to see that you didn't like the outcome. All of the other hotels have a local area shuttle but do not call it an airport shuttle.On the BW website they offer rooms for $72. I am for the first time going to try the Hotwire low price guarantee. Link to comment

I feel a lot better about the hotel now, since I am now paying about $66/night. Now it does seem like a good value. Link to comment
