When you bid an area and a star level, you have to be prepared to accept any hotel in the area and at your bid star level (and higher if PL upgrades you).

The only way to avoid a specific hotel is to bid at a higher star level, or stay away from the area altogether.

Sorry - there really aren't any tricks for avoiding a hotel.

hi -

i think i read in another post that the W has "tennis nearby" as one of the amenities. so if i had to guess, i would say that the one you are bidding on is not the W. this is just a hunch though

at 95$ I got offered to rebid with an increase of 22$ - refused

rebidding with 3$ steps and above mentioned strategy

107$ bid accepted
