travelrules
First Off, Thanks to the administrators for providing such a valuable service to the community, may you be blessed tenfold.I am looking to go to New York City from Dec 28- Dec 30th for 2 nights at either a 5star hotel or a 4 star hotel with a maximum of $150 per night preferably in the Midtown east area, Upper East Side, and Upper Midtown. Is this way to low, I am will stay in other parts of ny but the above are my preferences. Thank- you so very much Link to comment
thereuare
Thanks for the compliments, but please help us keep the board 'neat' by following up your posts with the ultimate results :) I think $150 is going to be too low for this and there are also no 4* hotels on the Upper East Side.I would also recommend including the MTW zone in your search (unless there is a reason you don't want to be in that area) and perhaps raising your maximum bid to $180 as i think it would increase your chances somewhat (still may not be enough). Of course i'm not suggesting you bid beyond your budget, but if you'd prefer a 4* hotel over lowering your star quality it is something i would consider.Let us know if the MTW is also acceptable and if you'd like to raise your maximum bid amount... if not we'll still suggest a strategy that goes up to the $150 level. (and don't forget to follow-up your previous post with whatever you ended up doing, thanks) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
