My neighbors got a room for $80 about 3 weeks ago but I have had no luck. Last bid was for 3+ stars yesterday, DENIED at $120! Help?Thanks!! Link to comment

With HOTWIRE rates for a 4* hotel in the near-$300 area, $120 on PRICELINE isn't in the right area.You're going to have to compromise on something... price, zone, star rating, location, etc.What is the best rate you're able to find at an acceptable hotel for these dates thru conventional booking channels? Now using hotwire for Sunday and Monday nights!! choices are:$84 3.5 stars Magnificent Mile - Streeterville$130 4 starts Magnificent Mile - Water Tower - Gold CoastUsing HOTWIRE link!!Any ideas what these might be??
