thereuare
Please remember to follow-up your threads as you receive your results so that the information can benefit others in a timely manner (as well as let those who provided assistance now how it went)For your Cleveland stay, if you decide to use PRICELINE you'll need to be willing to accept a hotel anywhere in the shaded boundaries of the zone... there is now way to target a property in a specifc part of the zone. If location is primary focus you can consider HOTWIRE where you'll be able to take an educated guess as to the property you may receive based upon the amenities shown before your purchase.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise according...If PRICELINE: what is your desired star rating and maximum bid?If HOTWIRE: what are is the star rating, zone and amenities of the hotel you're being offered/consideringPlease use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. marcygiff
I would prefer Priceline w/ a 3.5 or 4.0 star rating and would like to stay under $60/room. The most important would be to stay w/in walking distance of the Cavs arena. Other than that, amenities are not a huge concern. Link to comment
thereuare
The most important would be to stay w/in walking distance of the Cavs arena. As explained above, with PRICELINE there is no way to target a specific area within a zone... you need to be able to accept a hotel anywhere within the zone. Is the entire zone walkable to the arena? The idea of using HOTWIRE wouldn't be so that you could get the amenities that you wanted, but more so to take a guess as to what hotel is being offered, thereby increasing your chances of being within walking distance of the stadium. If you still would like to use PRICELINE, are you willing to bid more for a higher rated hotel or is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or higher for this stay? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. joealx
I just checked out HOTWIRE 3*. The key amenities to check are self-laundry and a complimentary breakfast, should be Residence Inn or Holiday Inn Express. Across the street or half a block away, respectively, from the Q.If the amenities show a full restaurant and golf nearby. it's probably the Hilton Garden Inn which is about 2 blocks away. All the 3* and 4* are walking distance. marcygiff
The amenities are not all that important to us. I've noticed that a lot of people have gotten the Hyatt Regency Arcade for $35/night or Marriott @ Key Center for <$60/night recently and either would be perfect! Based on the Priceline Hotel listing on here, all 3.5 and up hotels in the downtown zone are less that .5 mile walk to Arena. Link to comment
