hubie
Good point, it's been almost a year, but I dug up my emails from priceline and updated my london 08 trip.Let me know when you get a chance regarding my chicago trip! Link to comment
thereuare
If you use this PRICELINE link, enter "Chicago", you will see a Lincoln Park zone, but the highest star rating currently available in this zone is 2.5* and we don't see much if any bidding in this area.Based upon current rates i don't think your maximum bid of $90 is realistic... have you checked hotel direct rates for these dates? If you want to give it a go anyway:At the 4* level in Chicago you have FIVE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* NMA-River North...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90Any questions feel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. AaronJB
I wouldn't recommend intentionally (using it for anything but a rebid) bidding for the Lincoln Park Zone, given the fact that there are very few hotels in the area and the lack of inventory often leads to minimal discounts - there are better deals to be had downtown. The one and only
there's a 3.5* in the NMA region on HOTWIRE showing up at 79$, might be worth a look. And if you'Re willing to go to around 100$ before taxes, then you might not have that much problem as rates on HOTWIRE for your zone seems to be around that range for a 4* hotel. Link to comment
