Hotwire Hotel: Hotel Room Availability help?

Hello,

I searched for 1 room for 4 people for the weekend of 10/30 - 11/01 and did not get Wynn as an option. But when I searched for 2 rooms for 2 people, Wynn did come up. Is this typical? Could I book one room for 2, and then add 2 to the registration or request double beds?

What if you book one room for two people and the hotel isn't able to accomodate your request for a room with 2 beds? Also, the officially policy of the Wynn is $50/pp (yeah, $50 :) ) for occupancy more than two per room, so while they may or may not charge you for adding two additional people to the reservation, i would at least be prepared for it as a definitive possibility.
