Priceline Hotel: Failed Bids 9/15 & 9/16 up to $150

Started bidding about four days ago for a two night stay in Manhattan. We are meeting friends there on 9/15 & 9/16 and they are staying in midtown so tried to stick to that area.

ALL BIDS REJECTED

On 9/5 I bid from $115 to $120 for 4* only in MTW; MTE; TSq

On 9/6 I bid from $118 to $127 for 4* + 3.5* adding zones along the way but ending up bidding MTW, MTE, TSq; ESB.

On 9/8 I bid from $125 to $140 for 4* + 3.5* adding zones along the way but ending up bidding MTW, MTE, TSq; Chelsea

On 9/9 I bid from $135 to $150 for 4* + 3.5* adding zones along the way but ending up bidding MTW, MTE, TSq; UES; Chelsea; CPS; ESB.

I decided in the end to cash in some hotel loyalty points and will save my priceline bidding for a weekend when we want to head into the city.

By the way, used betterbidding PRICELINE links to begin each bid. Thought I'd share our losses with the board in case it helps anyone with their bidding strategy. Good Luck!
