pmc22
Not too happy with this one. Hooter's website lists a rate of $31.50Started bidding at $28. Was given a counter offer and choice of raising my bid by $7. I declined, used free re-bid zone and upped my bid to $30. Price accepted. Used PRICELINE linkYour Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $30.00Subtotal: $30.00Taxes & Fees: $10.90Total Charges*: $40.90 Link to comment

pmc22
*Update*So after I booked I went on to a few other websites and found out I could have got the room for $35 including tax. I decided to give Priceline a call and see if I could get some form of a refund. They were very friendly and put me on hold while they looked up the cheaper rate I found. They found the rate and as a result refunded me the difference plus 10% resulting in a credit of $9.27 to my account. To top it off they gave me $50 in bonus cash to use towards my next trip ($10 a night up to a maximum of 5 nights). Lucky me I've got a trip coming up that's for exactly 5 nights!WooHoo :-) Link to comment
