aladyncal
I don't see any condos on the list for MTE. I am 'guessing' it is Best Western Hospitality House, but it doesn't match up with the description on the list.Hotwire shows 2* MTE w/these icons: CONDO/SUITE/STUDIO/KITCHEN/AIR CON/24 HR DESK/LAUNDRY/INTERNETSomeone just got this BW in June, and it was a 3* and their posting doesn't mention 'condo'.So, is it likely the BWHH or any other guesses? Thanks :) Link to comment

aladyncal
Sept 9-12. Apparently a VERY HIGH OCCUPANCY TIME :)I see another posting that suggests SUTTON PLACE SUITES. It has terrible reviews, so I won't risk it. Price is much too high ($169 for my dates) to risk it. Link to comment
Schuetzi
I went ahead and booked this. It is the Sutton Place Suites at 310 E 55St. Reviews don't sound too promising. :) We'll see how it turns out. I could not find ANYTHING decent at a reasonable price for my time of stay (9/9-9/16). Schuetzi
Thanks, I have suspected for a few days that I wasn't going to get anything in the 3* range within my budget. This seems to be a really tough time in NYC. It was actually $159/night though, and with the conversion rate to EUR that's not THAT bad (still more than I was initially hoing to pay). At least I know what to expect. It leaves a lot of room to be pleasantly surprised :). I've stayed at some pretty bad places before, so I'm not asking that much.I did use the HOTWIRE link for my purchase. Link to comment
