quigleymax2 Posted August 23, 2009 Report Share Posted August 23, 2009 Last weekend I went to Chicago and used priceline for my hotel stay for 1 night, Friday, August 14th.I bid on 8/5/09 and started out with 4* hotels in River North area with the following bids which were rejected: $50Added 3.5*$52Added Millennium Park area$55then I cleared my cache memory, re-logged in to priceline.com then tried again.4*, River North$594*, River North and Millennium Park $62 ------ bid was accepted by Hyatt RegencyYour Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $62.00Subtotal: $62.00Taxes & Service Fees: $16.87Total Charges*: $78.87Lowest bid I previously found was for $147 on Hotels.comI was meeting a group in Chicago for dinner and someone in that group had posted on our own message boards that he received a winning bid for the Hyatt for $75, so I tried it with a lower price and won at $62. I went to PRICELINE.com directly (before I discovered this site). Link to comment
