yellowdog
Welcome to BetterBidding!Rates are date specific and it depends on how many days you're trying to book the hotel. So you can't allways compare old data with your upcoming stay.I took a look at you dates and my guess would be +/- $120 for a 4* in your zone. Just post if you need any further help.Yellowdog. thereuare
I'm assuming your failed bids above were made on August dates (not in September as posted)What is your maximum bid for a 4* hotel for these dates? What is the best deal you're able to find for an acceptable hotel for this stay thru conventional booking channels? Also, if price/budget is a concern, would other neighboring zones work fro your needs? Copley Square-Theater district is another popular and frequently bid zone for this area, would this area be acceptable to you? Not sure if it will help your biddinbng or not, but it would at least give more hotels the opportunity to accept your bid. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. badda bing
Finally, PRICELINE has accepted a bid for the 4* Boston (Quincy Market-Faneuil Hall-Financial) Omni Boston Parker House for $111 per night (staying 3 nights). Seems like an avg. price for 4 stars trip advisor has the regular price at $159 and these are supposed to be very small rooms it is a GREAT location. I will let you know when my trip is over how well the Omni room was.I did change my stay from 5 nights to 3. Link to comment
