Hotwire Hotel: 5* Las Vegas (Central Strip) Venetian

Hi All,

Just another one that I am interested in some input on...

A few weeks ago I put up these dates, and whilst I don't recall the exact amenities, the ones listed as well as the Tripadvisor information definitely lead me to believe that it was a match for the Venetian. Whilst the price of $119 has not changed, the amenities do seem to have changed a little.

It is now coming up...

Las Vegas (Central Strip) 5*

Oct 12-14 - $119 per night

Amenities:

- Casino

- Fitness Center

- Pool

- Restaurant

- Business Center

- Golf

- Tennis

- Spa

Also, the Tripadvisor information that was there has been removed.

Looks to be likely that it could be the Venetian or the Wynn...

Any thoughts or inklings as to which is more likely?

Again, appreciate the help.

Is this an additional stay to your Hotwire Las Vegas thread OR are your dates flexible and this would replace your previous dates?

Also, as you decided to "sit on it for awhile" in regards to your previous thread, are you basically just shopping right now to see what's out there but won't be committing for awhile OR are you ready to commit to a non-refundable purchase at this point in time?

My dates, for both stays, are firm. I will definitely be having 2 separate stays, one Oct 12-14 before I fly to NYC, and one on my way back Oct 22-24.

I've been ready to commit to the purchase for months.

The Oct 12-14 dates I have been waiting patiently because I would like to stay at the Wynn. I have been hoping the hotel direct release some discount codes for the dates, but nothing as of yet. I have used Hotwire for the Wynn in the past, so that was my other option. Should I get close to the dates and the Wynn doesn't look likely, The Venetian will be a more than acceptable alternative.

The Oct 22-24 dates I am less inclined to go overboard price wise, because I won't be getting in until the early hours of the 23rd, and leaving earlyish on the 24th, so whilst I will have to pay for 2 nights, I will really only be staying a little over 24 hours. Planet Hollywood at $139 might be the way to go there.

Whilst I am aware no one can be sure of which results Hotwire will produce for Oct 12-14, I think it looks likely it will be the Wynn or Venetian, so I was hoping the experts might give me their thoughts on which way it MIGHT go.

Any input appreciated. :-)

Without any Tripadvisor info there is no way to determine if the above is more likely the Wynn or the Venetian as both have been reported with this amenity combination in the past... but i'll add that most (not all) of the time this combination is usually the Wynn.

Yeah, I tend to think it is probably the Wynn because I'm pretty sure it WAS the Venetian at some stage, but then it randomly changed. If it is still the Venetian, I'm not sure why it would change. I guess they may have their reasons.

Thanks for the help, as with the other, I might wait a little be longer and see if things change.

I will be sure to update the thread if anything changes or I book something, and I will be sure to use the links provided if/when I go with HOTWIRE.

I took the plunge and went ahead and booked this trip through HOTWIRE, using the link provided, of course.

This turned out to be a match for the Venetian.

I'm not really disappointed, other than if I had of booked a week or two back I could have got $109 a night direct through the Venetian website. So the possibility of getting the Wynn cost me $20, but that's life.

I only wanted the Wynn because I have stayed there a few times and really enjoyed it, and I tend to go with what I know.

Never stayed at the Venetian, but I'm sure it will probably be lovely and in the end give me two options in Las Vegas for the future.

Thanks again for all your help.

Congratualtions on your success!

While not the hotel you were hoping for, i think you'll find the Venetian to be quite nice and suit your needs very well. It's a great hotel with beatifully oversized rooms. I think it's hard to go wrong with any of the 5* casino properties in this zone.

Thank you for sharing your results with the board and using our HOTWIRE link to begin your purchase.

Enjoy your stay.
