S-Hart
Hi Guys,First I will again thank you all for the invaluable assistance you provide us all.I am looking for 2 nights, Thurs Oct 22 to Sat Oct 24.I am little confused by the result on Hotwire. I am being shown...Las Vegas (Central Strip) 4* - $139Ammenties: Casino Fitness Center Pool Restaurant Business Center High Speed Internet SpaGoing by recent wins, and the hotel list, this seems likely a match for Planet Hollywood to me.But having said that, this is where I get confused...Tripadvisor Rating 3.5 out of 5.0Based on 1920+ customer reviews (Last reviewed August 2009)Treasure Island is 4.0 out of 5.0 based on 1940 at the moment on Tripadvisor, whilst Planet Hollywood is 3.5 out of 5.0 based on 2028 reviews.Doesn't seem to match up. Anyone have any thoughts on which way this one might go? Link to comment
AaronJB
This would be a likely match for PH.Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase. Link to comment
S-Hart
Thanks for the thoughts on that one, I might mull it over and see what happens in the next few days.Quick forum etiquette question... I have another few nights, a few weeks earlier (Oct 12-14) that I am looking at as well, and could use some assistance. Is it preferred to carry on in this thread, or start a new one? Thanks again! yellowdog
S-HartPlease start a new topic since the dates are diffrent. But please don't forget to follow-up this thread with whatever you end up doing, even if you chose to book direct, cancell your trip, etc. Yellowdog. Link to comment
S-Hart
Thanks for that, I will follow up when I decide what to do.Have some time to play with, so will sit on it for a while I think! Thanks for your help, I will start a new thread. Link to comment
thereuare
If the 'other dates' are altnernate dates to the above, and will replace the stay above, then the request goes in the same thread... if it's an additional stay (ie- you'll be heading to vegas more than once in the month of October) then you create a NEW TOPIC. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
S-Hart
Thanks for the clarification. As I'm sure you noted in the other thread, these are in fact 2 separate stays, hence the new topic.I'm aware that there are some set procedures to keep things running smoothly around here, and to make it easier to reference for others, hence why I asked for the clarification before posting. :-) Link to comment
S-Hart
Just an update...I ended up deciding with this one that because I am getting into Vegas at probably 3-4am in the morning of the 23rd, and leaving just over 24 hours later, that there was no point in going overboard with the booking. I had no need to be on the strip either. In the end I booked South Point for the 2 nights, at $62 a night.I am, however, going to take a HOTWIRE punt on my other 2 nights. I will use your HOTWIRE link. I'm hoping to get the Wynn, but will be ok if I end up with the Venetian. I will update the other thread with my result. Thanks for your help. Link to comment
