robamartin
It looks like Priceline only has two and 1/2 star hotels and under in the Garden District. Does anyone have any idea which hotels this might include? Thanks! Link to comment

robamartin
Thanks for replying to my post, and for the link. Unfortunately it doesn't look like the list includes any hotels in the Garden Disctrict - only several of the other zones Priceline has set up in New Orleans. Any other suggestions? Thanks! yellowdog
HOTWIRE got some hotels in that zone. Search HOTWIRE for your dates and list the amenties HOTWIRE associates with the hotel you're looking at and we'll have a look at this.Yellowdog. Link to comment
thereuare
Any other suggestions? Thanks!Go to MAPS and HOTELS.com and enter "St Charles and First St, New Orleans" into the search box... you'll see the hotels in the surrounding area and compare to see which ones lie within PRICELINE's Garden District zone. The hotels on the map are taken from PRICELINE's "retail" version and that arm of their service uses a different universe of hotels than the 'name your own price' side of their service, but there is a fair amount of overlap.I'd also search HOTWIRE as yellowdog suggested above to see if there is anything there of interest and/or within your budget.Do you need to be in this specific area, as you can see, it's not one that is bid very often by users. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
