zbenye
I was hoping for the USE Hyatt Regency, but for the life of me I can't get it. Bid $68 for each individual night between now and Thanksgiving. Nada. Then hoped for the Larkspur Landing, across the parking lot from this Hilton Garden Inn, for they don't charge the $3/night extra taxes that this one does.I actually needed 10 nights. Checked on Expedia, saw that the Larkspur Landing is $111 for November 14-18, and then $63 for 18-24. So I bid up to $39 for 14-18 and got the HGI. Then bid $35, thinking that surely that would get the LL on the nights when Expedia has it so low, but no. Haven't rebid yet.Has anyone else noticed that the number of wins posted, here and elsewhere, has dwindled significantly? At least in SF it appears so. Used to be several postings every day. Now we sometimes go 2-3 days with not a single post. This isn't fun anymore; I'm looking for an apartment to rent. Link to comment
thereuare
The board has been busier than every, more likely a general slowdown in SF, but i haven't noticed it. Could it have anything to do with the hotel strike... maybe hotels not wanting to overload the temporary staff, or more likely, users not wanting to stay at a striking hotel?
