nicoee
I was wondering if anyone has ever reserved 4 rooms with priceline's name your own price option in the disneyland area? Is this possible? Will it be harder?I would appreciate any experiences with this and thank you in advance! Link to comment
AaronJB
It depends on the dates in terms of traffic whether or not it will be difficult, but given this area, I don't think it'll be too tough and it's certainly possible. What are the dates of travel? What would be the budget per night and desired star rating?Additionally, keep in mind that PRICELINE only guarantees one bed per room. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase when you are ready to book. nicoee
the dates are oct 7-11, budget is between 40 and 50 hopefully for a 3 or 3.5 star, we could go a little higher if neededwe will use the PRICELINE link from this website as usual Link to comment
thereuare
I assume you want to restrict your bidding to the "Disneyland" zone? Did you want to try for a 3.5* up to your limit and then, if rejected, try for a 3*... OR is your goal the least expensive 3* or better? If you're ready to bid now, let us know which way you'd like to proceed and if you're looking to cap your bid at $50/nite; we'll then suggest a strategy for you to follow. Thanks in advance for using our PRICELINE links to begin your bidding. nicoee
my goal for the rooms is the least expensive rate with either a 3 or 3.5 star rating and I definitely want the disneyland area Link to comment
thereuare
At the 3* level you have ONE re-bid zone. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.I would begin as follows:Select 3.5* Disneyland...Bid $41, if rejected LOWER STAR RATING TO 3*...Bid $38, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $40.Any questions feel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. nicoee
We just got the 3 star holiday inn and suites anaheim on walnut for $45 Oct 7-11, 4 roomsWe have stayed here a few times before and it looks like they have upgraded the star rating I think it used to be 2.5 stars. It will be nice to see what they have done since it was under construction, that was the last time we were there. It looks like it has a $10 parking fee now too, I don't remember them having that before. We first bid $41- rejected2nd bid $43- rejected3rd bid $44- rejected4th bid $45- acceptedWe did the first 2 bids on the same day using a 3.5 star and then a 3 star, then the last 2 bids the same way today. Thank you for your help, we didn't try the rebid zones because we were unsure of exactly how to do it but we are happy with our price and next time we may take you up on your offer to help us out with the rebid zones. We used the PRICELINE link on this site. nicoee
Thanks, I would like to know how to do the rebidding! I will probably be bidding on 2 more rooms in the disneyland area Oct 8-11 with a 3 or 3.5 star rating. There are a couple people that cannot stay as long and need to book their room later. It would be nice to be comfortable with the rebidding zones before I bid again. Link to comment
