Checked some of the winning bids here for Moncton, then checked Hotwire for comps for this date - ouch!

2.5* = $114 + 20.09 = $134.09

3* = $97 + 20.35 = $117.35

3.5* = $110 + 22.12 = $132.12

So, since it's high season, I decided to start my bidding for a 3* at $59 in Moncton - rejected, but I received a counter of $76.

Declined the counter, added Dieppe (no 3* in that zone, so it's a free rebid), and increased my bid to $66 - success! :)

I should also report that upon review of the hotel's website, I found the property charges $10CAD a day for parking.

Still happy with this deal, just want to ensure future readers of this thread get a complete picture of charges associated with this property.

I highly recommend this property.

Clean, comfortable, spacious room + outstanding service at the front desk. Guest coin-op laundry also a bonus.

Free breakfast was a bit of a mob scene, but good nonetheless.
