Just a heads-up to other new HOTWIRE users: When entering the number of people for your reservation it is for the total number of people, not the number of people per room. I made a mistake by entering a reservation for 2 rooms, 2 adults, 2 kids thinking it was people per room. When I got my confirmation it was for 2 rooms but only guaranteed for 2 people in each room (1 bed per room). I should have entered 2 rooms, 4 adults, 4 kids.

Yes, the occupancy is total for all rooms... not per room (which is why the dropdown menus for adults/children goes to 24 and 16, respectively).

If you haven't already, i'd call the hotel and/or HOTWIRE (which one you call first is up to you) and explain the sitatuion and see if the hotel will note your reservation for rooms with two beds each.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Yep it makes sense now, I did notice those larger numbers when I went back to the menu. I should have clued in the first time. Also, I did call the Crowne and they were really nice but said there wasn't a way to guarantee 2 beds per room (I even asked if there was a fee I could pay). They checked the occupancy for me on that day and said if I checked in early I could probably get 2 beds/rm.
