thereuare
Both hotels that have previously been reported in this area, Sheraton and Wyndham, show their hotels as being sold-out for this date. I don't know if these rooms are on 'hold' and will open up as the check-in date approaches or if the hotels are truly sold-out, but i would highly recommend:1) booking a cancellable back-up2) consider lowering your star rating or be willing to consider other zonesDo you know if there is some event occuring that would account for the sold-out condition?Let us know if you are willing to lower your star quality and/or consider different zone and if we can be of more help. thereuare
Rates are not high in the downtown zone for your dates (but still not sure why the airport is sold-out).Book a cancellable back-up and continue to bid on Priceline. However, i would recommend sticking with a $75 bid for at least a few weeks. TheWog
I also just tried to get 3* Downtown FLL for 01/21/05 and was rejected at $75.00 and rebid of $80.00. Any ideas? Link to comment
thereuare
I'd recommend the same advice offered in the post above yours... continue to try until mid-December and in the meantime book a cancellable back-up.
