Sure, many hotels charge a resort fee on both PRICELINE and HOTWIRE. I can't answer for Tapatio Cliffs in Phoenix, but just google the hotel and see.

Yes - Most resorts still charge resort fees on top of the room rate (priceline payment).

I just stayed at Tapatio Cliffs last weekend and had a great time. Their fee is one of the few that are optional. When you check in they will give you a description of the services the fee provides and the cost (it was only $2.50 and covers use of a shopping shuttle and other stuff).

I didn't pay the resort fee at Tapatio Cliffs and we were still able to enjoy all of the pools, water slide (it is short), and even the intra-resort complimentary shuttle to and from their Squaw Peak resort on 16th street.
