njg
Does anyone know if Priceline or the individual resorts still charge the "resort fees"? How about Tapatio Cliffs, in Phoenix, in particular? Thanks! Link to comment
yellowdog
Congratulations on your success!Sure, many hotels charge a resort fee on both PRICELINE and HOTWIRE. I can't answer for Tapatio Cliffs in Phoenix, but just google the hotel and see.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding :) Looks like a nice deal for you.Enjoy your stay.Yellowdog. AZ Resort Hunter
Yes - Most resorts still charge resort fees on top of the room rate (priceline payment). I just stayed at Tapatio Cliffs last weekend and had a great time. Their fee is one of the few that are optional. When you check in they will give you a description of the services the fee provides and the cost (it was only $2.50 and covers use of a shopping shuttle and other stuff).I didn't pay the resort fee at Tapatio Cliffs and we were still able to enjoy all of the pools, water slide (it is short), and even the intra-resort complimentary shuttle to and from their Squaw Peak resort on 16th street.Hope this helps and hope you have a fun time!
