jessguo
I followed the previous winnings as below, but I made a mistake of choosing 3*, instead of 3.5* to start with. By doing this, I lost one free bid zone. Now I am locked by priceline for the 24 hrs restriction. Please advise how to proceed.Chose rockville 3* to start with, $38, rejectedadded camp springs free rebid zone, $40, rejectedNow I am stuck because priceline automatically chose 3.5* for me so all I can do is to lower the star level to 2.5, but then camp springs does have 2.5*. I don't want to stay there. I only want to stay in Rockville.Looking at the previous winnings, it seems like priceline has changed their zoning. Now there is no such zone called "bethesda-south rockville", instead, there is just "rockville" and "gaithersburg-germantown". How can I rebid again within 24 hours? Thanks. Link to comment
thereuare
At the moment, Laurel only goes up to 3* (but doublecheck on your own before bidding to make sure that nothing has changed)...Close your browser, use our link to re-access PRICELINE...Select 3.5* Rockville and Laurel...Bid $xx, if rejected add Camp Springs (assuming only offers less than 3.5*)...Bid $xx.Any questions feel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.PS- in your next reply please include the date(s) of your stay. thereuare
Rates are date specific, so if demand (and therefoare rates) is higher than average for your dates you may not be able replicate somebody elses winning bid price. What is your maximum bid for this stay? What is the best available rate you're able to find thru traditional booking channels? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. jessguo
I found 2 star hotels for about $80+Tax. It is just too much for our budget. So do i have to wait until the first 24-hour period is over to rebid? Thanks. Link to comment

jessguo
Tried yesterday but failed.Yesterday's records:7/28/2009 07/29/2009 Laurel, Camp Springs, Rockville 3.5 star $49 check-in check-out areas selected minimum star level bid 07/28/2009 07/29/2009 Laurel, Rockville 3.5 star $48 check-in check-out areas selected minimum star level bid 07/28/2009 07/29/2009 Rockville 3.5 star $45Tried again today and got the Legacy hotel in Rockville for $50.I put down $48 for 3.5* Rockville zone, rejected, then raised price to $50 and added 3*, accepted. Could probably have done better if only selected 3* at the first beginning, but happy with the result. Thanks for this board. Link to comment
