Looks like PRICELINE may have tweaked the Las Vegas zones a bit and this property appears to be in the "near Strip East" zone now.

yep, I ticked the "Las Vegas Convention Center"-zone among others and not the AIRPORT section when naming my price.

I guess my subconscious mind just wanted to indicate the iata-code of the airport so the wording "Airport" in the topic-line does not refer to the defined priceline-zone - sorry for that...

By the way: Stimulated by your inquiry I just checked the detailed maps at priceline and found a confusing illustration of the Vegas-zones.

First, when I checked the definitions of zone 4 (Las Vegas Airport) and zone 5 (Las Vegas Convention Center), both zones were numbered as "5" in the pop-ups. In addition to this when selecting the hotel-address and comparing the spot given in googlemaps to the extension of zone 5 indicated in the priceline pop-up, the Hard Rock Hotel is outside zone 5 (Las Vegas Convention Center), as zone 5 ends on Sands Ave according to the pop-up whereas googlemaps assumes the Hard Rock Hotel to be south of Flamingo road, so it would rather fit into section 4 (airport) than 5...

Just saw the hint in my priceline-confirmation regarding the zone... but I haven't ticked that "Near Las Vegas Strip East"-box... a bug in the priceline-system?

Another room for improvement: In my hotel-confirmation the link to the hotel webpage is dead - may be we can set up a process optimization consulting project for priceline :)
