pechapaiq
I'm trying to book a hotel for this weekend in Vegas and I'm new to Priceline but I've read everything and nothing is working for me....I really want to stay in the North Strip and I don't mind the Trump so I entered my bid and everytime I do it (even after 24 hrs) they ALWAYS counteroffer me $111/night......So I'm thinking ok 5* hotel maybe $98 is to cheap (even though on some others post they have the Trump for $78/$88/night...) so I kept my zone but downgraded to 4* and even with 4* they STILL counteroffer me $111.... for 4*........ so why would I pay $111 for 4* when I could get 5*.......... I thought changing my star level would at least make the cost lower, no?I guess right now it's busy season in Vegas so maybe that's standard for hotel rooms now?If any1 can give me some advice that would be great because I seriously need a room by this Thurs, 7/15. Lazycash
Its a tough weekend because of the big fight and a big convention, most of the hotel rates are double this weekend. I'm just going to book something from hotwire probably or try for something just off the strip via priceline. Link to comment
