Priceline Hotel: 3* NYC (MTS) Park South Hotel

I just helped a friend get this over the phone...

WE tried 4* MTW/MTE/MTS/UM-CP up to $200...

tried 2.5* MTE/MTW up to $170...

tried 3* MTW/MTE/MTS/UM-CP up to $180 before hitting at $200

Worked out to about $268 with taxes ... cheapest I found this elsewhere was Travelocity for $204 with breakfast so PL was NOT a winner for us on this one.

Just checked, their website has a AAA rate of $204 also.

Tough to accept the first time Priceline did not help me at all :) . Still a great track record 99.98 percent!!!

I should have dropped to 2 star and gone for the Murray Hill Suites in MTS instead... might have come in in the low/mid $100's ... I saw it on PL/Hotwire packages as the lowest priced option.

Hotwire had the 4.5* Omni Berkshire (MTE) for about $240 .... but this was over their $200 limit.

The friends refused Lower Manhattan or Jersey where the real deals/savings can be!!!

trust me, I am considering it .... especially after those two winning posts for New Years at the Jersey City Hyatt for $37 ... that is the steal of the year by far!!!
