BayArea1227
I got this bid on my first try at $65.00. I am satisfied; but same as last time, I think I might have been able to get it cheaper. I was going to start off at 70, but decided against it, so that's a plus!! :) I used the PRICELINE link provided on top of the BetterBidding board.Westin Bonaventure Hotel404 S Figueroa StLos Angeles, CA 90071213-624-1000 Check-In Date: Mon, Aug 17, 2009 / After 01:00 PMCheck-Out Date: Thu, Aug 20, 2009 / 01:00 PM Summary of Charges Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $65.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 2 Number of Nights: 3 Room Subtotal: $390.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $67.32 (USD) Total Room Cost: $457.32 (USD) Link to comment
yellowdog
Congratulations on your success!Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding :) When you use PRICELINE this far in advance is it always good to try some lowball bids. Are up to speed with using free zones for your bidding? This is a good link: Priceline Re-Bidding ExplainedEnjoy your stay.Yellowdog. Link to comment
BayArea1227
I understand the free zone bidding, however what would you recommend in regards to a lowball bid? Like 55/night. I usually track others and see what they won for the same area and I usually start about $10.00 lower than them. Thanks for your advice!! Link to comment
thereuare
That would be a good plan, imo. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
