Attending a conference and then taking a week vacation. So altogether 9 nights (arr. 7/9, dep. 7/18)

First round of bidding used arr. 7/9, dep. 7/18 and was unsuccessful.

4* Mill/Loop/Grant Park $57

Did three additional bids incrementing $5 each bid adding free rebid zone (couldn't tell you now which zones at 4*)

Final bid of $72 unsuccessful. Also no counter offers.

Checked HOTWIRE for each individual night and it turns out prices spike on night of 7/10 & 7/11 (middle of the conference).

Started over with new session.

arr. 7/12, dep. 7/18

4* Mill/Loop/Grant Park $57

got a $17 counter-offer. didn't accept.

added free rebid and bid $62. Accepted.

Was offered opportunity to bid on extension. Bid on previous 3 nights. Not accepted.

So I still have three nights to find accomodations for but we do have a friend who might be willing to put us up.

Or we can stay at O'Hare and I can train in to the conference on those days.
