Tamaire
A trip for me, this time. Not for flaky family members. :) Anyway...We're debating between these two options, and your help would be greatly appreciated. :) I have a feeling that the condo is @ the Trump, which, if I recall correctly, also means that we'd have to pay $30-a-day or so for parking. (Not too interested in that.) I'm also guessing that the non-condo option is @ the Wynn, but you guys are the experts, so I'll trust your opinions. :oWithout further ado...----------------------------------------------5-Star Condo in Central Strip Stars: 5Location: Central StripDates: check-in 7/10, check-out 7/12Price: $139Amenities: Spa Services, Studio, Smoke-Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pools(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-speed Internet Access, Kitchenette, CondoRooms: 2Guests: 4 (2 per room)-----------------------------------------------5-Star Hotel in Central StripStars: 5Location: Central StripDates: check-in 7/10, check-out 7/12Price: $143Amenities: Casino, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Spa ServicesRooms: 2Guests: 4 (2 per room)-------------------------------------------------I'm also curious to know if the condo has two sleeping areas, or just one. No need to book two rooms if all four of us could stay in one. Thanks so much for all of your help. You guys are awesome, and I will DEFINITELY book through your site. :)Best,Tamaire Link to comment
thereuare
From the Trump website:suite accommodations ranging from studio suites to our three-bedroom penthouse suites.I would not assume the Studio suites to have separate sleeping quarters, nor does the picture at their website show a separate room for that room class. Also, i belive the Trump resort fee ~$15/day includes parking (so it's not $30/day for parking... but you can doublecheck if this is still an option for you)The Condo above does look like the trump and the 5* hotel is a match for the Wynn so that would be our best guess for each. Thanks for using our PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Tamaire
Thanks so much. :)There is a good chance that I am going to book the Wynn, but I'm considering trying PRICELINE for the Planet Hollywood (or another 4* or 5* South Strip hotel). I've never used Priceline before, so if you guys have any advice for me, I'd really appreciate it. :o Is there any way to aim for a certain hotel when you use Priceline? I'm willing to go as high as $115-$120 a night, I think... Maybe $130.You guys are wonderful. Thanks so much for all your help. :)Best,Tamaire Link to comment
NashPreds
Is the Wynn the only 5-star hotel (not condo) on Hotwire for the Las Vegas strip (Central)? Link to comment

thereuare
You can't target a specific property when using PRICELINE... you're subject to any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you select. One 'problem' at the 4* level with the South Strip zone is that it contains the Westin, which although is in the South Strip zone, is located slightly off the strip, and for that reason (and that its not a "glamour", themed, mega-resort, like most 4* hotels on the strip) a property that some choose to avoid, and as a result decide to use HOTWIRE in Vegas. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Tamaire
$85.89 after taxes & fees. Excellent deal, I think. I'm happy, as are the three others who are going with me.Thanks, BetterBidding folks! :)PS: Yes, I used your PRICELINE link, as it is now working again. :)Best,Tamaire Link to comment
Tamaire
I ended up using Priceline and booking the Westin, which is great for my friends and I. We don't mind being a block east of the strip. :)I booked through your PRICELINE link, and posted my win on the Priceline board. Thanks so much for all your help! :)Best,Tamaire Link to comment
