GoCubbies
I need help figuring out what hotel is listed on Hotwire. The amenities are:Fitness CenterPoolRestaurantBusiness CenterHigh Speed Internet4 out of 5 with 260+ reviews on TripAdvisor (last reviewed May 2009).All of this leads me to believe it may be the Wyndham Chicago. I know it is listed as a 3.5* but I am wondering if it got bumped to a 4*. I checked out the amenities and reviews on TripAdvisor and the Wyndham seems to be the only hotel that fits the bill for MMA - Streeterville. My other thought was that the W Chicago was moved from the Loop to MMA - Streeterville. Any ideas? Link to comment

GoCubbies
Sorry, 5/30-5/31. Link to comment
AaronJB
The W Lakeshore is still in the NMA-WT-GC area and the W City Center is in the center of the Loop area (and unless things have changed, I don't think either have 4/5 - plus, the W City doesn't have a pool.)The Wyndham certainly would appear to be a possibility; if it is the Wyndham, I've stayed at that hotel a few times, and while I had a negative customer service experience the first time, customer service improved on the stays after that. I will say that I do like the rest of the hotel quite a bit - it's a very well-maintained property with very nice public areas and larger-than-average regular rooms. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link and let us know the results. GoCubbies
It isn't coming up as an option anymore. I may hold off and see if it returns. I will definitely use the HOTWIRE link. I may go ahead and roll the dice with PRICELINE, even though I am pretty sure if I go with The Loop they will give me the Palmer House. I have read mixed reviews on the place, but if I can score it for $70 it is still a deal. This is a great site. Thanks for the help. Link to comment
AaronJB
The Palmer isn't a hotel I'd pay full price for, but for $70 it's a nice place to sleep - plus, right near a few different CTA stations. Thanks for offering to use the site's PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links; let us know if you have any other questions.
